| Introduction | Food for thought is a classic metaphor used to describe an idea that can induce a person’s mind to think. This idea can be anything, encouraging the reader ‘to think’ and can come from anywhere in the world. Robert Southey wrote in 'A Tale of Paraguay' (1825): 'A lively tale and fraught with food for thought.'" It means that Tale of Paraguay gives the readers something to think about. Food for thought is a commonly used phrase hence it is self-explanatory altogether. Overall Food For Thought is the food (idea) which is discussed for the consumption of brain in order to provoke it to think further. |
