| Introduction | I am the Mom to the most beautiful boy. His smile makes me melt, his chuckles swell up my heart to the brink of exploding through my chest. Lately I have been drawn to messages like 'If you don't build your dreams, someone will hire you to build theirs.' There are so many aspects about my life I can improve by just doing my best to be better. A better person, a better sister, a better daughter, a better mother, a better partner....the list goes on. After sitting with my father and watching him fight to stay alive - and losing his brave fight - life became different shades. Greens looked different. Textures looked different. The mirror looked different. When all is said and done, you are the sum of all your kindnesses and good deeds. Those by your side at the end are there because of the caliber of person you are and the choices you've made. This blog is meant to share my achievements, my stumbles, and each one-step-at-a-time. |
