Einführung	I started fishing at the age of 6,WOW that 56 years ago. were as the time gone. i started on the river Afon Twrch, using a rod made out cane.and cotton as line, with a bent pin. have i moved on, at the age of 9. started fly tying and fishing the river Tawe, after watching a guy fly fishing near Pontardawe. i was amazed watching him cast, across the river and catch trout on a dry fly. from that day on, i wanted to do the same. it has been a long journey, which i have enjoyed. I have fished in many parts of the world, and catching many fish big and small on a fly. like Tarpon to 60lb, lemon shark to 85lb. in the UK I have caught salmon off the river Towy to 22lb 8oz, sewin to 10lb 8oz (bigger on bait) carp to 36lb 12oz fly. and my other love, is saltwater fly fishing, and have caught bass to 11lb 12oz. what did help me in the bass fishing, was i started fishing in the sea back in 1972. when fish stocks were very high, so it was a lot easier then. i also enjoy fly tying very much, and tie at a lot of the fly shows around the UK.
