| Introduction | I am 31 years old, I am married with no children yet. I was diagnosed with Stage II Vaginal Adenocarcinoma in the right vaginal fornix on December 23rd, 2010. The tumor is present far enough down the vaginal wall that a radical hysterectomy is not an option and the plan moving forward will be external radiation with concurrent cisplatin, low dose chemotherapy that may be followed by Brachytherapy. I start radiation treatments on February 7th, 2011 at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston Texas and will have them for five days a week for eight weeks.
