| Introduction | I am a 53 year old software developer, self-employed for 20 years. I am nearly finished my training to become an American Orchid Society judge at the Mid-Atlantic AOS Judging Center in Philadelphia. When it's time to vacation my thoughts jump instantly to Amtrak. So far I've ridden the Capitol Limited round trip, the Cardinal east bound, the Crescent south bound, the Southwest Chief round trip, the California Zephyr round trip, the City of New Orleans north bound, and the Empire Builder round trip. This vacation will let me add the Sunset Limited east bound, the Cardinal west bound, and the Crescent north bound to that list. |
