| Introduction | I am inspired by the shapes that surround us in nature and everyday life—the curve of a flower petal, the straight lines of a tree trunk, the round eyes of an owl. My creative work explores these forms through shape, line, and color, allowing me to express a deep appreciation for both organic and geometric beauty. I am especially drawn to the circle, a shape that holds personal and symbolic meaning for me, and which I often explore through the structure of the mandala. The circle represents unity, balance, and the infinite, themes that resonate throughout my work. While color plays a central role in many of my pieces, I also find joy in the meditative practice of black-and-white Zentangles, where simplicity and complexity coexist through intricate, repetitive patterns. Whether bold in color or quietly monochrome, my art is a reflection of the visual harmony I observe and seek to create in the world around me. |
