| Introduction | I am a native Southern Californian, and have been married for over 42 years. I am turning 63 in October and am starting to realize I no longer need Life Time Warranties. I have spent over 30 years working in the banking industry, never really a career, but certainly a good job. I retired 10 years ago. We have 2 amazing kids, a daughter 35 and a son, 32. My daughter and her husband have 3 little boys. But my son has yet to make the commitment. My husband is still working so my life is pretty much my own.....ha, ha. If you believe that, you don't have kids. I love being a grandma. I love to garden and read. Although I have been writing poetry since I was 14 years old, I have just recently begun to write short (hopefully humorous) stories. My life, my grandsons, and just everyday living provide me with all the inspiration I need to keep me writing. I started this Blog and have been having a blast with it. The computer thing is my biggest challenge. I am not that technical, but I am getting a little better each day. Hopefully, my readers will be able to relate to my stories, and if they make them smile...better yet! |
