| Introduction | High school teacher (history and English) by day (and night!), looking to find my voice, release pent-up writing energies, like so many drops of perspiration in the vast sea of the blogosphere. I used to be kind of a rock critic. (I say "use to" because I haven’t written much about it for years— nor kept up with the popular music press, such as it is— and "kind of" because I never made a living at it.) But I begin this project with no particular theme in mind other than my interests and tastes. I still love music and I'm sure it'll take up some copy space but I'll post as I feel inspired by daily routines, teaching, current events, reading, movies, just letting off steam, trying to make sense of the hurly burly like the next person. |
