Interests	I have a wide variety of interests that include reading, writing, knitting, and liberal politics. I also love experiencing and learning about other people and cultures. I am currently learning to speak Spanish and hope to be fluent in the near future.
Favorite movies	The Hours, Mama Mia, anything dark and slow to develop that has emotional depth and richness.
Favorite music	Classical, classic rock, the Beatles, Chris Issac, Lady Gaga, Joni Mitchell, Anything lively and up beat.
Favorite books	I like to read things from 1850 to 1950. I also prefer if the authors are no longer living. It isn't that I think that modern writers can't write, it is a question of style and detail. I love detailed description. Mrs. Dalloway is one of my all time favorite books of all time. Wallace Stegner and Peter Taylor are also favorite writers.
