Introduction	I am just a mom who can appreciate the simplicity and beauty in functional everyday design; while still adding in a pinch of whimsy to make things a little unpredictable.
Interests	I love design and all that is involved with it. The details, the fabrics, the textures, patterns, and all the different arrangements you could create. It is an area of creativity that you could never go wrong and always improve upon. Between the toys, paperwork, pets, and overall responsibilities of daily living; it’s nice to take a moment, at the end of the day, look around and simply see the beauty in a comfortable lived-in home. While I do love the savvy trendy styles of the moment; my focus is on providing a home that is both practical for our daughter, while not feeling like we live with our toddler. I love design, but don't know a lot about it; for me it is a learn- as- you- go process. Our home is constantly changing. I have gone from beachy, traditional, ultra-modern, to vintage. I am not sure how you would define my “style, ” for me it usually depends on how or what the day holds. Some people may say that I am fickle, but I prefer to think that what they really meant was dilettante. My goal is to create a simple, lived in design that is not only comfortable and stylish; but practical for everyday family living.
