| Introduction | I am currently attending Austin Community College to obtain an Associate's Degree in Fashion Merchandising/Marketing and I plan on transferring to Texas State to obtain a degree in Business Management. I am a nanny for a few families, which I absolutely love. I am originally from Phoenix, Arizona and have lived in Texas for 5 years now. I love Austin and everything it has to offer! When it comes to my political viewpoint, I follow in my mother's footsteps. I didn't just choose to be Democaratic just because she was, but I listened to her thoughts and ideas about government growing up and that helped me conjure up my own ideas. I was never really into politics until the past couple of years because of my age as well as the many things that were going on in our country and around the world. I never really cared to get involved in anything political, but I did get into this past election and I did vote. That may not be a huge thing compared to what other people have done in politics, but to me it was a big deal. I'm looking forward to this class because I'm definitely not a scholar in the government scene, so I think I have a ton to learn which is exciting. |
