| Introduction | Welcome to my studio blog. I am an art teacher, web designer and painter from Baltimore, Maryland. My paintings draw influence in part from my interest and study of traditional art. I hold a BFA from The Maryland Institute College of Art, and an MAT ( Masters of Arts in Teaching ) from The Maryland Institute College of Art. I am currently part of the visual arts faculty at Carver Center for Arts and Technology, a Baltimore County magnet high school in Towson , Maryland. I teach drawing and computer graphics to students in 9th through 12th grade. In addition to teaching full time at Carver Center, I am creating and posting up to 8 (small) still-life oil paintings to my painting journal every month.
