| Introduction | For three years I have been creating art quilts but have been quilting for many years. The challenges of translating fabric and thread into realistic images are accomplished with a myriad of technics and tools including painting with transparent and opaque paints, inks, colored pencils, and watercolor pencils and crayons. When the need arises I use embellishments and textural fabrics. I am intrigued with expressing the colors, textures, and movement of nature and am especially interested in human portraits. |
