Introduction	I've been a traveller all my life, or at least since I was 8 years old. That's when I coaxed my younger brother to follow me, on his bike, 15 kilometers down the highway, to a neighboring town. We made it - I think the local constabulary supervised our trip home - and I have no lingering feelings about being in terrible trouble. My mother was probably too stunned and just happy to get us back in one piece. Hence my thirst for travel has not been quenched; it's just that now I'm a big kid, coaxing my husband to come along with me.
