| Introduction | Eva Scherer arrived in NZ in 1996 from Poland. She is a professional massage therapist and body-worker: owner of Y Massages – business , several Sports & Therapeutic massage clinics located at YMCA’s around Auckland. With her team she was the first in NZ to bring massage services into commercial space in shopping malls and to the corporate world with Ford Motor Company & Am Express In 2000 with like mined people Eva created Child Connection Trust registered charity –with the aim to introduce massage into mainstream education system as prevention for child abuse and family violence. Since than her Community Award for Excellence award winning Children Massaging Children (CMC) programme has benefited children in NZ as well as overseas |
