| Introduction | Kristina Howells is a writer and photographer. She has been taking photographs since she was given her first camera. Since then she has started to develop the art. Kristina has won many photography competitions and has had her first collection published. In 2009 she started becoming a designer for craftsuprint using her photographs to create digital images for card makers. She uses her photographs for the covers of the books that she writes. Recently she has now been commissioned to create covers for other writers. Kristina loves to take pictures of the environment or anything that catches her eye. She recently invested in a mobile phone that has a camera. So when she hasn't got her camera she has her mobile handy to capture the images. The photograph that represents her book Toxic was taken using her mobile phone. Photography is a form of expression, just like writing. Every photo captures an image, which is like expressing a 1000 words. |
