Introduction Go ON it’s liverpool is a cross-sector campaign supported by the City Council to help Liverpool’s population get online: in order to access cheaper goods and services, educational and employment opportunities, and for social, leisure and family communication. In 2011 there were 104,000 adults in Liverpool who had never been online (according to the ONS) – 29% of the population; two years later this is reduced to 66,000 people, or 17% of the population – the national average for ‘digital exclusion’. It is important that all Liverpool’s residents have the skills needed for the 21st century!
