| Introduction | Hailing from the foothills of Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, 8 Lives Spent is a band with a wide variety of musical influences. Combine that vast collection and the result is an original rock band that blends various eras of styles into their own special sound. Hard-hitting out of the gate, the band puts its entire being into a show. Referred by many as “Southern boys with a kick-ass punch”, the crew enjoys building their material from the very roots that started it all. Raw power chords, upbeat tempos, and catchy breaks, their music attracts the blue-collar audience and that is something that they are especially proud of. The last thing that can be expected from these guys is “mainstream”. When they do include covers they are far from usual as they rip into obscure tracks from bands such as UFO, Montrose, and even vintage Cult, which gives a very good indication of their original styling. One thing is for sure, this band is not about conforming to a box. |
