Introduction	My name is Karen. My husband, Brett, and I live in Chicago with our dog, Levi. In the last year, Brett and I got engaged, married and started a home renovation. We are turning a 3 flat apartment building on Chicago's North Side into a single family residence. Since the building was built in 1890, we have run into a myriad issues, necessitating a gut rehab. Our architecture firm is Northworks and our contractor is Mavrek Development.
