| Introduction | Elias was born on May 1, 2008 @ 2:41 am. He spent five and a half months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. On October 9, 2008 Elias was diagnosed with Fanconi Anemia, a rare genetic disease that often leads to bone marrow failure, leukemia, and higher risk for other types of cancer. We are blessed to have Elias home with us now as of October 15, 2008. He is such a happy baby that melts everyone's hearts. Welcome to our struggles and celebrations for life with Elias |
