| Introduction | Gokul Muru is a dedicated student within the walls of William Mason High School. Upon carrying the burden of many AP courses, he carries a commitment to discovery and promotion; he discovers new ideas as well as promotes humanity. His work in Science Fair includes biodiesel production and wire resistance. These chemistry and physics projects show that Gokul Muru is willing to discover every possible facet within the world. The University of Cincinnati also awarded $50 for Gokul’s wire resistance project marking an accomplishment. In addition, he carries the torch of the human spirit through his club known as Amnesty International. This club takes part in the task of fighting for human rights around the globe; furthermore, he takes his school community into the international platform. He has written to the governments of Mexico, Russia, and Palestine urging them to take action against human rights violations. Along with these aspirations, Gokul Muru carries a talent with the piano. He has been involved with the Royal Conservatory of Music Development program, passing their tests with first honors. With his innovative perspective, Gokul Muru commits to making a better community. |
