Introduction I am Schelley Brown Francis. I am the Director of the Dorcheat Historical Association Museum. My love of history is put to use in many different organizations. In 2010 I was honored by Minden, Louisiana as “Women of The Year”. I serve on the board of the Minden Cemetery Association and created the Minden Cemetery Ghost Walk. I have lived in the Minden Historic Residential District which allowed me to serve as the president of the Minden H.R.D. Assoc. I love old cars and motorcycles they are the ultimate antiques. I am a member of MOTAA and the Motor Maids. For several years I was honored to serve as the Jr. Vice President of Mid-American Old Time Automobile Association based in Morrilton, Arkansas. In February of 2012 I joined Motor Maids, Inc. the oldest women’s motorcycle organization in the U.S. and Canada. It has been said about me that if it is old, rusty, buried, will not crank or the paint is peeling off of it that I must have something to do with it. I love preservation in all aspects. Enjoy my blogs and more important I hope you will support these efforts to preserve our past. Contact me at 318-423-0192. You can email me at iluvoldcars@yahoo.com
