| Introduction | Zubair Hussain Shaikh is the author of presidential award winning series Mera Iqbal and co-author of a number of books for children. He is known for his innovative teaching methods and strategies for teaching language. He has an extensive experience of conducting teacher-training programs in urban and rural areas of Pakistan on a wide range of topics related to pedagogy and academic leadership. Zubair’s especial area of interest in Urdu language teaching and he is the pioneer member of Pakistan Tanzeem e Asatiza Braey Tadrees e Urdu ((پتا بتا which is professional development forum of Urdu language teachers.With his rich experience spread over 20 years in the field of education, he works at ERDC as Project Manager and associated with different organization in freelance capacity. He has keen interest in organic farming and mushroom cultivation. He has established an entrepreneurial setup of mushroom farming in Karachi and Peshawar. He has introduced “Milky Mushroom” first time in Pakistan, which is known its delicious taste and numerous medicinal values. Zubair Hussain Shaikh is married, and father of three kids. |
