| Introduction | I must give all the credit to my mom without whom I would not be who I am today. She was the one who brought out the hidden talent in me. She sent me to cookery classes at the age of 14. Though I have a Masters Degree in Geography, I took to teaching baking & cooking due to the interest in the art. The diploma in home science certainly helped. What started as a hobby became my profession and there has been no looking back in the last 30 plus years. Have organized more than 11 Cake exhibitions in Chennai and won a number of prizes in cookery contests. I owe a lot to my friends and students through whom the word passed around and was invited by various educational institutions to serve their colleges. Had run a bakery for over 6 years and trained more than 25000 students from all over the country & a few from abroad I still conduct classes for the passion of teaching and transferring knowledge. |
