Introduction	I started gaming as a teenager. Starting with table top roleplaying games and then onto miniature wargaming. Like many it was games workshop space marines and squats that caught my interest, then briefly warhammer fantasy. After heading to university, my interests move to Live Action Roleplay or LARP-ing. That was until around 2007, when the gaming bug bit again. Having sold off all my previous collections of miniatures, I picked up a couple of GW battle force boxes and joined my local club. I have always loved 28mm scale figures. It is not a rational thing I can explain, but no other scale has ever had the same feeling and so today I now own a collection of over 2000, mostly white metal figures from a range of makers and for a range of periods from WW2 to the science fiction of stargate and beyond.
