Introduction I am a "Jack of many Crafts and a Master of none!" LOL! I love to sew, make jewelry, build dollhouses and miniatures, and dabble in Mixed Media. My husband Mark and our 2 babies (Miniature Pinchers) live on this strange planet called New Mexico. It is very different from our home state of Northern Virginia. I have been disabled for the past 12 years which is the pits, I loved my job!! When I got sick I was devastated, not only by the excruciating pain, but I went through a 5 year deep depression. Part of my disability in the beginning was losing my cognitive skills, my ability to read and write. I taught myself to read again, reading fashion magazines then all of the great Art magazines from Stampington. I didn't stop there, I have a fabulous craft library of over 3000+ books that I refer to constantly!! In the 9 years we have lived here, the only person I can call a "friend" is the manager of the local Joann’s Fabric. The people round here are very inbred and don't seem to like outsiders. The Internet has become my only outlet for friendship and I have found many friends around the world online.
Interests Living the Creative Life, spending time in my art studio, reading, sewing, and most important spending time with my husband Mark and my friends
Favorite Movies Too many to list! I'm a sucker for a good love story but I also love sci fi/fantasy!
Favorite Music Celtic, New age jazz, Michael Buble, 50's oldies, 70's stuff! Depends on my mood!
Favorite Books Right now I am starting a new creative business so I am reading everything along these lines I can get my hands on!
