| Introduction | I'm 30. I think like I’m 40 yet I feel like I’m 22. I live in the most beautiful place I know – Cebu City. I’m a journalist-turned-corporate junkie-turned-cake designer and baker (but who knows what I’ll be in a few years?). To say that books, film, and art are my life’s greatest passion is an understatement. I’m an old school extremist, discreetly (not always) opinionated but unconventionally forgiving. My childhood was an imperfectly happy one devoid of teen angst and rebellion. I am an only child and might be arguably the world’s best daughter. I can prove this by my taste in music – 70’s and 80’s, just like my parents. I don’t trust a lot of people but SPF 85 is my best friend and is my mother’s smartest advice. My mother's desire for creating all things beautiful is perhaps, my greatest inheritance. My strong-willed and adorable 8 year-old daughter is my inspiration. My family defines me.
