| Introduction | The name is, of course, a pseudonym. In truth, I'm just a Bill, yes I'm only a Bill. Now you know approximately how old I am, too. The name of the blog is taken from a quote in a review of Carl Sagan's "The Demon Haunted World" in which the tendency science has toward a materialistic world view is explained: "Materialism is an absolute for we cannot allow a Divine Foot in the door." My intent is to create a place for God to do precisely that by way of my observations of the world, culture, and whatever else come to mind. |
