| Introduction | Shilpi Mitra is a Sr. MTS working on SaaS journey of Horizon VDI solution at VMware. She brings with her a diverse experience in designing and developing scalable, secure, resilient applications in different technology fields. She has developed high performing web appliances, VDI, and applications for cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, etc., practices and advocates TDD. An expert on web security, she was Security CZar for Adobe ColdFusion. She has good knowledge of Java/J2EE, cloud, Docker, Containers & Kubernetes. Shilpi has presented at internal, national, and international conferences. She is Certified Scrum Master, Reviewer at internal innovation events, D&I evangelist, leader at Women Who Code Bangalore, and committee member at GHCI for 2 years in succession. When not at work, she is a doting mother. She loves to read, music is her charge and cooking is her stress buster. |
