| Introduction | I am not the guru of all things Japanese. I do know Japanese product development principles. I currently live in Japan and have more than 25 years experience working with global teams to both develop and manufacture product in association with companies such as Motorola, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Ford, GM, Chrysler, TRW and other European OEM's. More than 18 of those years were directly involved in developing critical safety products for the highly demanding Japanese automakers. Living and working from both Japan and the US, I've gained extensive background in the varied disciplines of Customer Development, Engineering, Program management, and Operations. This background provides unique insight and know how into the thoughts and methodology required in satisfying the demands of Japanese OEM's. |
