| Introduction | With the advent of modern life and industrialization, the communities are getting away from our cultural heritage. One of which is the traditional songs sung by our elderlies on various occasions such as festivals, marriages and other social gatherings. These songs and their tunes were passed from one generation to other in words and very less effort has been made to record or preserve them. “Bihar Lok Geet” is an attempt to preserve and pass these melodies to the next generation in a way liked by the generation next i.e. Youtube videos.
