Introduction	I grew up in the Silver Lake area of Los Angeles in the 1950's. This blog is the stories of the people, places and experiences of that time. It is a time that needs to be remembered. I have lived in five states and three foreign countries and each has its own memories, but the ones from Silver Lake are the most vivid. I doubt some would believe my memories of the other places. That's a blog to come. Today I breathe chalk dust in Honolulu for a living.
