About me

Location United States
Introduction My now 18 year old son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes as a still nursing on demand toddler at 15 months of age. While I'll never forget the crashing of the entire world around me when we learned of his diagnosis, we've come a long way in 17 years. My now 16 year old daughter was conceived 4 days before my son's diagnosis of diabetes. She's a gift from G-d to her brother, although she doesn't know it! She is both a joy and a challenge too. Join me in my journey of parenting teens and learning to let go.

What would you name your ballet inspired by the sight of children leaping through a garden sprinkler?

At what point did you decide that you could raise awareness of the need to cure diabetes and/or raise money for cure focused research?
