| Introduction | I'm currently working towards my MSc at Memorial University in St. John's, NL. My project involves melt modelling and topographic analysis on the glaciers in the Torngat Mountains of northern Labrador to determine their sensitivity to climate and how that is influenced by the unique topography in this area. I enjoy ice hockey, walking my dog Jessie and doing home renovation projects with my fiance Mitch. I have been to Antarctica with Students on Ice and would love the chance to visit the Canadian High Arctic one day as well. I have a passion for the polar regions, in particular snow and ice hydrology and issues concerning Arctic sovereignty. |
