About me

Introduction	I am 12 years old. When I was only 5, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was just 36 and had always been healthy and had even run three marathons in the three years before she had me. Luckily, my mom is fine now. But she had to fight hard for her life (four surgeries, six months of chemo and then another year of a non-chemo cancer-fighting drug called "Herceptin", six weeks of radiation...and that was just for starters). It was a really hard time for her, and for my family, and now my hope is to raise money to help other people with breast cancer and to help find a cure for this awful disease.
