Introduction	I started quilting in 1997 while based in Tanzania for 2 years which was a good intro as they had very little in the way of fabrics, threads etc and I had to make do. Over the years my interests has moved more towards the contemporary/innovative style of quilting/ textile art piece. I had the pleasure of spending 2 years in Kampala, Uganda(2001-2003) where they had a very enthusiatict quilting group who managed to produce the most wonderful quilts again with just what was on offer. I grew up in Durban, Kwa Zulu Natal and after a number of moves around the country and out, we have now been living back in Durban in a beautiful hilly/green suburb called Cowies Hill approximately 15kms inland from the coast for the last 6 years.
Interests	Other than my 'sewing' my other interests are very open and range from music, art,outdoors, flora & fauna etc.
