Introduction I just turned 35 in September and got the BEST birthday present ever. I was diagnosed with the MTHFR gene mutation! Why was this good, you ask? Well, I could finally pin-point a reason for my years of suffering multiple miscarriages, weight-gain, headaches, fatigue, fainting spells, irregular periods, etc. The next step? I googled my butt off! My husband and I don't just want to make a baby, we want to heal my body and get it healthy so as to create the best space possible for our little one, when they do come (not to mention I'd like to live long enough to enjoy motherhood and grandparenthood, etc.) I've found a wonderful healer who immediately reassured me that my condition is treatable and that she has had a great success rate in the baby-making department! My first appointment is in a few days and I will be blogging about my journey from here on out :) I hope that those of you reading this will find the hope and encouragement we all so desperately need when seeking to experience the miracle of life for ourselves.
