About me

Introduction Shane and I met almost five years ago in Washington, D.C. Shane was working as a Nuclear Engineer for the Navy and I was doing marketing for a non-profit group. After a year we were married in the Salt Lake City, UT temple. In 2006 we moved to California. On October 7th, 2008 Noah Mark and Jonah Coy joined our family. They were born prematurely at 24 weeks. After six months in the hospital we finally took them home. Jonah is in daily therapy to give him every chance at rising above the high risk for disability that he faces due to his Grade 4 bilateral bleed he suffered as a result of his prematurity. He suffers from Cortical Vision Impairment and has recently been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. We continue to pray and do all we are able to help him in his journey of life. Noah is off oxygen after nearly two years. We consider this a huge blessing. He amazes us every day with his active nature. He is meeting his adjusted milestones and is full of energy. We pray for his continued development and that he will experience as much of a normal life as possible.
