My blogs
| Introduction | I am based in London, the greatest city in the world (apart from Naples) but I travel extensively, especially in Turkey, where I have a home in Buyukada, near Istanbul. I have worked at DDRLP, an award-winning architecture practice based in Istanbul. As well as writing for Domus, Wallpaper, Mark and Metropolis, I have published articles on the Stirling Prize and Nicholas Grimshaw's Thermal Spa in Bath in the respected, dual-language Istanbul-based design magazine YAPI. I studied for my architecture degree at London South Bank university, where I graduated in 2010. I won 3rd prize in the architectural writing competition held by London-based practice RHWL in 2007. I also have a degree in Contemporary European Studies, and I have been a parliamentary sub-editor and reporter for the past 20 years. |
