Introduction | The Center for Accessible Living is Kentucky’s first Independent Living Center with offices located in Louisville and Murray and services spanning the entire state of Kentucky. The Center for Accessible Living (CAL), a private, non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization, is a disability resource center for people with disabilities, governed by people with disabilities. It operates on a cross disability basis, which means that individuals will be served regardless of type of disability. Our experienced staff provides information, advocacy and services that create opportunities for people with disabilities to live as independently as possible. Independent living for people with disabilities means having the opportunity and responsibility to exercise their right to control their own lives and make their own decisions. |
