| Introduction | I am a happily employed (well most of the time), full time mother to 2 beautiful daughters, who has always had a flare for decorating and re-purposing with vintage finds. Although I have no formal education in this field, my job before deciding to venture out on my own was at a garden center. I did the buying and visuals for their gift and home decor department. It really taught me a lot about a lot of things! After years of flea market shopping and furniture refinishing, I decided it was time to spread my wings. And so you have Vintage Addiction. I also am fortunate to have a wonderful and multi-talented husband who is a whiz at finish carpentry. We also have had our own home remodeling company. So, there you have it! |
| Interests | Spending quality time with my family, keeping fit(or at least trying to),antiquing,shopping with my daughters(they are girly-girls) |
| Favorite movies | I really don't have time for TV, but a couple that come to mind are Field Of Dreams and The World According To Garp, and recently I saw The Proposal, which I thought was hilarious! I tend to like sappy, funny love stories, that my girls con me into watching with them. I tend not to watch sad or realistic stuff. |
| Favorite music | Usually along the lines of Sting and Sheryl Crow. These days, I'm loving Adele and Maroon 5,and I really like Melody Gardot and Madeleine Peroux. |
| Favorite books | I don't usually read much, except for in the winter. My girls have turned me on to the Hunger Games Series, and I plan to read the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo series. |
