Introduction	SAZ Maritime Services Sdn Bhd (SAZ Maritime) formerly known as Seri Matang Sdn Bhd was incorporated in May 1975 as a wholly owned Bumiputra company. The company was dormant until 1986 when it began operations as marine craft operators in 1986 with the chartering of a Supply Vessel; “SAZ Supply” to Shapadu Energy for a period of two years. SAZ Maritime Services Sdn Bhd started actual marine operations on the 15th day of January 1986. The office is located at Kelana Jaya, in between Port Klang and the city of Kuala Lumpur, just 20 minutes away from Subang International Airport. Principally, SAZ Maritime is a provider of marine services and has been in this business for the last seventeenth years. Over the years, we have built up the necessary resources not only via internal human capital expertise but also strategic alliances to meet the demands of the marine and maritime industry. Since our first charter service to Shapadu, SAZ Maritime has been providing similar chartering services to the oil majors and port authorities with vessels ranging from chemical or product tankers, offshore marine crafts and harbor support marine vessels.
