| Introduction | A little about myself...this is the first class I have taken that will hopefully allow me to become a teacher. The notion came from friends in Dallas who told me of a teaching job relating to the hospitality field, an area that I have worked in for 14 years, since coming to Tech. I thought that I would like to try something different, so I have concentrated on elementary education. I have a wife, two dogs, a cat and a turtle…and we hope to have children sometime in the future. I am excited about the books that we are reading and I can’t wait to introduce these and others to our future children as well as in the classroom. This is also exciting to me, as my bachelor’s degree was in Restaurant, Hotel & Institution Management (RHIM) and so far, this experience is quite different from anything I have done in the past. |
