| Introduction | I am currently a Marriage, Couple and Family Therapist. My husband and I raised four children; the youngest is now 21 years old and we still have two children in college. They have grown into lovely young adults and we are very proud of them. I had spent many years volunteering in the schools, church and community organizations. I loved spending that time with my children at school and various activities, but I was tired of giving my time away, and wanted to find another way to share my time and talents. I knew as they grew I was going to have to reinvent my life and have a way to share my time, energy and love with others. I knew I wanted to open a private practice and thought I would just start out one day a week, and then my husband left me a message when I was at the gym working out one day. He said, “I hope this is OK, but it was such a good deal, we couldn’t pass it up, so I just bought you a building.” I thought to myself, “OK, I guess I am really doing this.” I believe the Lord has gently pushed me into this private practice of counseling. I love it!! I have been so blessed to be able to do what I love, and have my own schedule. |
