Introduction | Dan Gallagher is a retired U.S. Navy Commander. He served as a helicopter crew chief before attending college. He was then commissioned as a Naval Intelligence Officer and served another 20 years before retiring. In his second career he designed and built computer networks. He founded OpenCape, a regional all fiber optic internet service provider, in SE Massachusetts and served as its first CEO. He and his wife Colleen now live in Bonita Springs, FL in retirement. Dan has begun a third career as a solo performing musician. He has authored two books, the latest, "Small-Town Boomers: A Nostalgic Look Back at Randolph, Massachusetts is available on Amazon. He also writes the Liberty Takes Effort blog, and enjoys tennis and volunteering in his community. |
