| Introduction | Christopher Choi Polk of Slidell, LA is a graduate of Louisiana State University. He holds a degree in history, and has a keen interest in all aspects of Korean Culture. His mother is a naturalized US citizen who emigrated from South Korea, and his father is a native of Picayune, Mississippi. Although Chris has had constant exposure to Korean culture through Koreans living in America, he has only had one prior visit to South Korea. That being in October of 2010, during which he fell in love with the people and the culture, and thus decided to become an ESL teacher. |
