| Introduction | Growing up in the midwest in the 70's and 80's I experienced the dawn of the computer age, the rise of opec, the 90's launched the internet, the new millennium and a attack on the US never seen before and the airline industry merging multiple times, deregulation and offshoring of many industries, a hurricane destroy New Orleans, Walmart expansion, the teens saw the housing industry collapse, US auto industry also collapse with unions falling apart, and explosive outsourcing seen to touch every industry, and corporate values shifting radically how they view their labor. Some things have been good, many have been a mixed bag of negatives with an occasional positive hidden in. I will be writing a few blogs on some of these topics and give my view on the events of the day. This is mostly to get it off my chest but I welcome other thought out points of view. |
