About me

Introduction Rav Natan was born in São Paulo, Brazil and grew up very engaged in the Jewish Community there. As a volunteer, he was a madrich (camp counselor) for many years, secretary of the Zionist Youth Council, and represented the youth groups of São Paulo on the Jewish Federation Board. While attending a Jewish High School, he began teaching in his community’s religious school. Since then, he has continuously worked with youth movements, summer camps, and young adults’ groups.

After graduating with a degree in Business, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship, as well as working as a business consultant for a couple of years; Rav Natan decided to dedicate himself professionally to the Jewish community. With his experience in Jewish education and great passion for learning, he became the rabbinic intern in his home community, before moving to the US.

Rav Natan was ordained by the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies at the American Jewish University and received the award for Academic Excellence in Rabbinic Literature in 2020. While studying in Israel, Rav Natan studied to become a shochet (ritual slaughterer) as well.
