| Introduction | This blog is about my life in Ottawa and my learning experiences as a pastry student at Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa. Before arriving in Ottawa (from Australia), I had no prior experience with pastry; I came from a career background in higher education. Not long ago, I decided to pursue my passion for cooking, and chose pastry because I felt I needed formal training in it (I didn't think I was able to pick it up on my own). I took Basic Pastry from Sep to Nov 2008, Intermediate Pastry from Jan to Mar 2009, and Superior Pastry from Apr to June 2009. Enjoy my blog! |
