| Introduction | A bit about me. I grew up in Alaska. My claim to fame is that I went to high school with Sara Palin (who was Heath back then). Married in 1986 to a wonderful man whom has been my husband for 25 years! Wouldn't want anyone else. I have 6 wonderful children (but who's bias) with 3 more additions (no grandchildren yet).So I guess that makes 9 children. Whew. I have homeschooled my children for 15 years and was privileged to do it. I am a servant at heart. |
| Interests | trying new crafts, tatting, origami, reading, gardening, visiting with friends, spending time with family,going to plays, browsing used book stores, drinking tea, cooking and learning. Always on a new adventure in learning. |
| Favorite movies | My Fair Lady, Count of Monte Christo, Man in the Iron Mask, Mulan, Sister Act (both), Mrs. Doubt Fire, (I have to admit "White Chicks" was hilarious, though my child was shocked. Me too!) |
| Favorite music | Smooth Jazz, contemporary christian, christian worship, Gregorian chant, acapela, oldies, soft rock, hymns, barber shop quartets. |
| Favorite books | The Bible, "The One Minute Manager" by Spenser Johnson, MD, Cookbooks(making things from scratch), Fabric Folding or origami, Tatting books(the art of lace making), "My Utmost for His Highest" by Oswald Chambers,various craft books, especially green projects. |
